Internation Development Specialist with Project Managment Emphasis I have high level skills in Project/ Program Management, Investment Management, Marketing tie-ups, Construction Management, Organization Needs assessment, Project & Program Design, Capacity building, Project & Program Design, Systems Improvement, Feasibility Studies, Corporate Planning/ Diversification and Micro finance with extensive experience. Presently I am working as part time faculty with the Postgraduate Center of Vishseshwrya Technological University teaching Contract Management ,Business Statistics , Projects management & Appraisal and Transportation management. I also serve as Associate Director of Choowa Institute of International Peace and Security. Working at the Choowa Institute, I manage and maintain strategic partnerships with foreign non-governmental organizations, provide operational oversight and monitoring of the foreign partners. I assist the Executive Director in program management, financial management, and strategic planning. Present project is Mediation Training in Conflict Management in Collaboration with a local NGO, in Somalia. Since June 2010, until June 2011, I worked with Deloitte Consulting LLP, as Advisor to Government of Blue Nile State in Sudan with Ministry of Finance and Economy , General Secretariat for Strategic Planning, and Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs for establishing a Program Management. Unit for management of Internally and Externally assisted projects in the state as part of USAID Core Institutions Project in Southern Sudan and Transition Areas. Earlier I worked with Management Systems International, Washington, DC as Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Water Resources and Public Health, in the Government of Iraq as part of a USAID Tatweer project assisting the Ministry to review present practices, develop capacity develop plans, and assist in development of projects and programs for intervention at individual, organizational, institutional and enabling environmental levels. This involved developing course material for preparing project proposals, feasibility studies and large capacity development project, report writing for training and conducting workshops. I was involved in providing assistance for ministry directorates in developing strategic plans, capacity development plans, manpower development plans and developing budgets and projects at national and provincial levels in water resources management. The employment tenure was two years and nine months. Prior to this assignment I had worked as Executive Assistant to the Chairman of Subhash Projects and Marketing Limited, a leading Project engineering and Infrastructure Development Company in India. I assisted the Chairman in policies related to Business diversification, ERP planning, MIS Development and Other corporate planning activities. I have also served with the Ministry of Defense, Government of Rwanda as Projects Manager/ Adviser for 7 years . I was responsible for establishing the Directorate of Planning, as a unit in Ministry, specializing, in Strategic Planning, Project Design and Management.
