i+solutions is looking for a Market Research Advisor to be a part of our team in Woerden.

For this, we support our clients with market dynamics and evidence based research to better understand the relationship between the supply and demand side barriers, the market behavior so that the most suitable and forward thinking market intervention is chosen.

Under the overall guidance of the Director Programs & Innovation and the Manager Market Research you will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct market research/landscape analysis to understand health markets and identify factors impeding access to medicines and health products using relevant methodologies such as literature review, stakeholder interviews, data analysis and synthesis;
• Provide ongoing support to the proposition team in development and validation of existing tools/methodologies to better understand health markets;
• Work with the proposition team to generate evidence on market shortcomings and utilise them for proposing/implementing relevant market interventions at global and country level;
• Actively engage in acquisition of new projects by identifying business opportunities and writing project proposals;
• Contribute to i+solutions’ market research expertise development and expansion of project portfolio across all disease areas;
• Expand and explore partnership opportunities with organisations working in the field of health supply chain management and market dynamics;
• Execution and management of assigned projects against agreed work plans and approved budgets;
• Contribute towards strategic planning and development of annual work plans and budget for the unit/department;
• Manage stakeholder communication and represent i+solutions in global initiatives and partnerships aimed at promoting access to medicines.


What we are looking for:
Education & experience
• Degree or equivalent qualification in public health, pharmacy, health logistics, international development or related area;
• At least 5 years’ work experience in health systems, pharmaceutical supply chain management or public health;
• Good understanding of health systems in low and middle income countries;
• Experience in designing, conducting and managing implementation and operational research/studies, data;
• Working knowledge of SPSS and other statistical software.

Skills
• Strong data management and analytical skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to prepare compelling presentations and written reports;
• Experience working in an international and multicultural environment;
• Ability and flexibility to travel on a short notice and spend longer periods of time in the field is a must;
• Excellent computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook and PowerPoint;
• Able to prioritize work, multi-task and meet deadlines.

Languages
• Proficiency in English;
• Working knowledge of Portuguese and other UN languages (French, Spanish) will be an added advantage.
