The Resource Alliance, India is currently recruiting a Learning & Development Manager whose main responsibility will be to support the Country Representative, India, in the effective implementation and delivery of the Learning and Development strategy. This is a challenging opportunity for a dedicated and highly motivated individual.
The Resource Alliance is charity whose mission is to build the fundraising capabilities of the non-profit sector worldwide. It works to help voluntary sector leaders acquire the tools to build the financial sustainability of civil society.

JOB PROFILE
The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for supporting the Country Representative (India) in the effective implementation and delivery of the learning and development strategy for India.
Responsible for:
• Working with the global Learning and Development team and wider RA team to meet organisational strategic objectives.
• Supporting the Country Representative to plan and deliver the RA India program.
• Supporting the Country Representative in preparing annual work plans and budgets.
• Proactively working on the India NGO Awards programme to ensure it is widely known, and receives due responses.
• Working closely with new media to market RA India’s initiatives.
• Proactively marketing RA India’s areas of work with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proactively taking on business development opportunities, raising funds and identifying and securing consulting contracts.
• Maintaining and updating the contacts database of RA India to ensure RA India has a wide network of contacts.
• Undertaking research activities to support the activities of RA India.
• Promoting RA events.
• Any other activities that may be assigned by RA India.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum 5 years experience in the non-profit sector
• Some experience in fundraising, mainly institutional and with corporate organisations
• Strong research skills and the ability to identify business opportunities
• Ability to network and build long lasting relationships
• Good project management abilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; other languages desirable
• Some experience in conducting training and capacity development
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Ability to manage complex workloads
• Strong computer skills
