Description
Purpose
The purpose of this consultancy is to produce learning and training materials based on the Toolkit component on “Child Responsive Budgeting” . This will include both the development of a facilitator’s guide to deliver half-a-day training session, using both the abridged, as well as previously produced extended versions of the component, as well as provide inputs into the development of an e-learning module. For more information please see the Terms of Reference.
Qualifications and Competencies
a) Advanced university degree in social sciences, international relations or a related field, with an emphasis on human rights.
b) At least 8 years of professional experience with child friendly budgeting at the national and international levels.
c) Current knowledge of the latest developments and trends in the field.
d) Experience in developing training and workshops materials.
e) Strong writing skills, and experience of presenting complex technical information in an easily comprehensible way for non-specialist readers.
f) Fluency in English.
Duration: 04 June 2012 to 15 April 2013.
